What time of the year does this program run?

Season begins in mid-April and runs through playoffs in July.

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Ages 5 through 18.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Practices and games are held at various baseball fields throughout the Hudson Park system. In the older ages, some games are held in nearby communities.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Teams will typically play 1-2 games a week over the course of the season and will usually play on one random weekday and Saturday. We tend to avoid scheduling games Fridays and Sundays.

When are practices and how often are they?

We try to schedule so that field time is available to coaches for practice at least one time per week.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

There are no extra fees for Spring/Summer Baseball.

We furnished a cap, jersey, and pants for the uniform.

Team equipment that we furnish includes: baseballs, shared batting helmets, shared bats, shared catchers’ gear (including a catcher's mitt).

The minimum that you need to furnish is a baseball glove, athletic shoes (plain ‘ol tennis shoes), and a bottle of water for hydration.

If you want to buy something for your player(s), some suggestions are (none of these are required):

• Batting gloves
• Batting helmet
• Baseball shoes (no metal cleats)
• Catcher's Gear

NOTE: For Softball we will be furnishing each team with fielding masks to use for infield defensive players.
